Januar skodde-8375.jpg

We have had an on-and-off winter so far. In the week-end it was absolutely off, as you can see from these photos that were shot along the same trail as the ones in my former post three weeks ago.

We could not see far

The colours were not blazing, but the combination of mist and no wind gave a very special atmosphere

And additional mist rising from the water

We were not alone

Old bird’s nest in the trees even had a “spooky” feeling 🙂

  1. When looking at your former post and the misty one it’s hard to believe that it’s the same landscape. Interesting to compare, Rune.
Both your posts are very inspiring!!
    All the best,

  2. It looks so different when not covered with snow. Is it unusual this time of year? I imagine Norway covered in snow all winter long, but what do I know? Not much. 🙂 Any snow at all would be quite exotic here in San Diego, California! The mist is lovely though.

    • Thank you, Sara – it has become unusual with much snow around here during the last decades, due to the man-made climate change. Also, the weather has become more extreme 🙂

  3. Looking out of the window, that’s exactly the weather we have today. The last few days have been cold, but lovely and sunny. Today is just cold and fog – roll on summer.
