A 15 minutes walk from where I live, there is a beautiful chestnut. It is the first substantial tree in the area that gets a complete “autumn-makeover” , and I usually try to get at least one shot of it every year. This time with back-lighting.

The autumn is undoubtedly here. A lonely blueberry was all that was left. But it had its own safety net …

Shooting the same subjects under different conditions, like time of day and lighting, can give quite different results. Here are three photos of Store Torungen Lighthouse – the first one was shot in the afternoon with rain approaching.
The second one was shot in “The Golden Hour”. A nearly full Moon was a nice bonus.
The last one was shot in “The Blue Hour”. The “bonus” moon was now full.
The photos were obviously not shot on the same day!

I found this house in the middle of a field in the outskirts of Arendal in Southern Norway. It gave me a feeling of belonging to a fairytale, so I elaborated a little bit on that.
